Ellie is an artist and designer based in Cornwall UK, her work spans disciplines including drawing, painting, printmaking and design for performance, installations, film & events.

My practice reflects an innate fascination with the natural world and a curiosity with how we experience place and landscapes beyond the purely physical. I draw inspiration from personal explorations of my surroundings, both local and further afield, as well as from encounters through unique design commissions.
​
An associate artist at the The Eden Project for many years, I’ve collaborated with specialists across Eden and partner organisations to design for a variety of immersive and educational experiences. Previously an associate artist with landscape theatre company Wildworks, I spent over 15 years collaborating and designing for performance events and installations, working responsively to sites and communities.
​
In painting, I work with mixed media including oil, acrylic, ink and other drawing materials on canvas and paper, sometimes combining techniques such as painting with screen-printing. My process is rooted in playful, intuitive experimentation, developing imagery in the vibrant space where memory, imagination, and presence converge.​​
