Ellie is an artist and designer based in Cornwall UK, her work spans disciplines including drawing, painting, printmaking and design for performance, installations, film & events.

I studied art and design at Wimbledon School of Art, and went on to graduate with a BAHons in Fine Art from University College Falmouth. 

 

The work I make, and projects I’m most drawn to reflect both my love of the natural world and explorations of how we experience place and landscape in ways beyond simply the physical. When painting, I use various medias on canvas and paper alongside printmaking - often combining techniques to develop a space where memories and imagination collide, creating imagery through playful and intuitive experimentation. 

 

Previously an associate artist with landscape theatre company Wildworks, I spent over 15 years collaborating and designing for performance events and installations, working responsively to sites and communities. Also an associate artist at the The Eden Project for many years, I’ve worked with brilliant people from across Eden and partner organisations to design for a variety of immersive and educational experiences.
